Three Delicious Fall Cocktails

Summer is perfect for fresh, fruity drinks, which are great for the beach, but once the fall rolls in, just as you change your wardrobe for the cooler weather, new fall cocktails are a must!  Now, I do have to say that we stick to wine about 75% of the time (Scott about 95%).  I like a cold Octoberfest beer from time to time, but wine is our go-to.  And liquor is even more unusual.  Until this past weekend, that is.

I love all things caramel.  The chocolate covered variety, caramel syrup on ice cream, caramel apples, you name it, if it has caramel on it, I'm in.  So when I saw this Caramel Vodka, the drink ideas started rolling through my mind, and I thought it would be great for some fall libations!

The first one that I made over the weekend was very simple, but so delicious!

Hot Spiked Caramel Apple Cider
  8 ounces hot apple cider
 1 ounce caramel vodka

It's warm and the most perfect nightcap on a cold fall day (or crisp afternoon!), and jazzes up normal apple cider.  Add a cinnamon stick or a twist of orange if you're entertaining, or just serve it up in a mug if you're drinking it on the sofa, under a blanket with leftover Halloween candy, popcorn, and a binge watching Homeland session (see above photo :)).

The next drink I made with the caramel vodka is with my very favorite beverage, COFFEE!  Another hot drink, and this would be great for a morning tailgate, or an afternoon toddy.  This would also be a perfect drink for Sunday brunch!

Irish Cream Caramel Coffee
10 ounces hot coffee
1 mini bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream
1 ounce Caramel Vodka

You could do this with or without the Bailey's, but as far as I'm concerned, coffee is always better with Bailey's!  If you're not a coffee drinker, sub in hot chocolate!  YUM!  Or, use decaf coffee if you'd like this for a nightcap instead of the apple cider option.  No matter how you do it, this is a yummy spiked caramel treat. :)

And last but not least, who doesn't like a milkshake??  Maybe it isn't so fall-ish, but with caramel, and chocolate, I'm not going to turn it down any time of the year!

Chocolate Caramel Boozy Milkshake
2 Scoops of Caramel (or Vanilla, or Coffee, or Chocolate) Ice Cream
Couple Splashes of Milk
Couple Squeezes of Chocolate Syrup
Couple Squeezes of Caramel Syrup
2 Ounces Caramel Vodka

Blend together and top with Whipped Cream, Chocolate Syrup and Caramel Syrup!  This would be cute blended up and served in little shot glasses for a party, or just pour a couple of big glasses out of the blender pitcher and drink it with cute striped straws.  Even if you drink it straight from the pitcher, it is delicious and you will enjoy every last drop!

So, there's three different ways for you to enjoy this delicious caramel nectar this fall!  Let me if you try one of these drinks and what you think!  Enjoy!

PS- This post was in no way sponsored or meant as a promotion, I just really, really love this caramel vodka and think it's a tasty treat!
