Thanksgiving in Photos

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. And we certainly have so much to be thankful for. Before I shared our family Thanksgiving, I wanted to share pictures from the weekend before Thanksgiving. When we got together with Scott's family in Aiken, and put together the 80 boxes full of Turkey dinners for needy Aiken families. What a wonderfully rewarding day it was.
Boxing up all the green beans, sweet potatoes, rolls, etc
We had quite the assembly line!

One of the best parts, even the babies were helping out :)

It's one thing to say that we donated 80 meals, but it's quite another thing to actually see it all.

Helping Out :)

The Luton/Rutland clan
To all who donated, thank you so much.  Your generosity helped feed 80 families and give them a nice Thanksgiving meal that they otherwise may not have had.
And then on actual Thanksgiving, we spent the day at home, just the 5 of us, for the first time.  It was quiet and laid back, and even though I cooked a full Thanksgiving meal, it wasn't stressful in the least bit, and it really was enjoyable.
I jazzed up the mantel with a "Give Thanks" garland

And, what else, Thanksgiving printables!
The girls and I making pumpkin pie in a cup

You spread it on a graham cracker, and it actually was really good!

Grayson liked it too (big surprise :))

By the time dinner was ready, the girls were hungry and ready to eat!

Grayson was clearly running out of patience :)

Bennett's first Thanksgiving!  Unfortunately, he was only a spectator :)

Daddy was being so silly after dinner.  I love their faces. :)
I hope you and your family had a fun and restful holiday as well.  Now, onto the good stuff!  CHRISTMAS!
